Happy day, ya'll! I wanted to personally thank everyone that sent over your biscuit recipes. I love a good biscuit and making them at home as had a fun little twist to it as well.
The recipe is linked here -> Nom, Nom, Nom - So tasty!
These biscuits were sent to me by one of my favorite readers and they make these biscuits on Christmas morning while their turkey's are roasting (or baking?). I might have to bring this tradition over to my family. We usually dance around my mom's kitchen drinking mimosa's and forget that we need to eat breakfast...whoops! But, this year, we will need to carb up. Big plans ahead.
This recipe was super easy to make, minimal ingredients, and delicious. My only recommendation would be to eat these right out of the oven; of course, let them cool. I didn't and now the roof of my mouth is paying for it. I went back for seconds when they were cooled and they didn't have that much of an appeal. I did pop it into the microwave for a good 10 seconds and it helped a little. But, if you are making them for a group, you'll eat the 6-10 in no time.
A few quick things to note: You'll notice my mouth is always open in pictures, I think its because I cannot control my excitement. Also, my hair is pulled back and looks greasy; well, that's because I'm a mom and my baby likes to put her gross, slobbery hands in my hair. Facts of life.
My photographer hubby snapped some pictures of the process; enjoy the pictures and I hope you also enjoy the delicious Scratch Biscuits.
